Now we're back from a lovely sunny skitouring weekend around the Franz-Senn-Hut. We drove there on Good Friday and had to climb up for around 3 hours with a lovely sunshine with almost 25 degrees. After we arrived there, we enjoyed a cool bier on the terras.

Saturday we went up to the Innere Sommerwand, 3.122m. We had another lovely day and it was a really enjoyable climb.

Sunday, the weather was not as good as the days before and we had to start in the clouds and with a not really good view. After we almost did the half of the way the sun came out and we saw a lovely alpine landscape around us. So finally we have be able to climb up all the way to the Wildgratscharte, 3.186m, over the Alpeiner Ferner.

Our last day was great again with plenty of sun and we made the decision to climb up to the Wildes Hinterbergel, 3.288m. After all the sunny days we had to take care about the sun, we already got to much of it :-) But the day was great again and we found the best downhill of all days over the Bergglasferner.

Finally, I defiantly have to tell that the Franz-Senn-Hut have been the best hut I've ever been. The people have been really friendly, the food was just great and on Sunday night I've also got a second special dessert - Kaiserschmarn.

At the end I have to say it was a great Easter trip for Carolin and me.
