It was a great long sunny climbing weekend at the Swabian Alb. We've met each other on Thursday morning and went directly to the Breitfels close to Blaubeuren, a lovely tiny town at the Swabian Alb.
At the beginning Joachim taught us how to be save during the climbing and how to do all the different knots. After a short break we stated to climb and it was great fun. On the way back we went to the Blautopf and enjoyed a yummy ice cream before we drove back to Joachims hut to have big dinner barbecue there.
From Friday to Sunday we went climbing to different locations around Blaubeuren and we almost have been successful at every location. Two really challenging tours have been the Ulmer Spatz and the Kolibri at the Breitfels with a difficulty of 5- and 5+.
During the evenings we have been quite lucky and we never went into a rain shower so we have been able to enjoy a every night yummy barbecue - it was so yummy that I gain 2 kilograms of more weight during this long weekend :-)
