Since almost one year ago Georg and I met us again for a ski tour. We started early Saturday morning from Georgs home in Immenstaad and drove to Partenen (Montafon) to catch the cable car there. Unfortunately, we went late and had to wait some time to get up by cable car and Tunnelbus to the Vermuntstausee. It's a crazy drive with the small busses through the tunnels.
From the Vermuntstausee we went all the way up to the Litzner Sattel by passing the Saarbrückner Hütte on a lovely sunny day. After the Litzner Sattel we went up to the Sonntag Spitze (2.882 m) and enjoyed a great downhill toward the Silvretta Stausee. From there we went up approx. 2 hours to our home for this night the Wiesbadener Hütte.
Sunday was our summit day of the Piz Buin. The weather has been still great and we started early in the morning from the hut and arrived at the Buin Lücke (3.054 m) around 10 AM. I did not feel well and staid on the glacier. Georg went up and it took him awhile until he came back because of all the people on the summit. Finally we had a great downhill back to the Silvretta Stausee where we enjoyed a jummy Schnitzel. On the way back to Stuttgart we made another stop in Meersburg at the Therme and had a relaxing finish of this great weekend.
