Today was a really hot running day in Stuttgart for the half marathon. We got almost 30 degrees, at first with some clouds but finally a all sunny day. The run started quite good and I thought I may bet my time from the last year but after KM 18 I realized that it is too hot and I did my normal running speed towards the finish line. Maybe without my handicap with the blisters from the last weekend I would have been able to run a bit faster but actually it doesn't matter - it was a really nice Stuttgart half marathon again. This year only Daniel did the run together with me and he finished with 2:13:53. My finishing time was 1:55:43. After the run we got the obligatory Maultaschen and went strait back home to get a shower after this heavy run. Later on the afternoon we met Georg at the Fischmarkt in Stuttgart and enjoyed some yummy fish dishes with a final cup of coffee.
