On Saturday, June 7 we caught the public bus from Copacabana to La Paz at 10am. At first we tried to organize the next tours to the Salar de Uyuni and to the Lauca Nationalpark in Chile. Unfortunately the train from Oruro is not in service and now we have to wait an additional day in La Paz to get further to the Salar de Uyuni.
The ride to La Paz was quite fast and we had to cross the smallest point of the Titicaca Lake with a really modern ferry. Afterwards we arrived in the quizzling city of La Paz and found a nice room at the Milton Hostal in the middle of the city.
We got organized, walked around and found a good agency to do the "Most dangerous road of the World" on Sunday. Afterwards we went for dinner to a bolivian restaurant and got ready for the next day!
