On Thursday morning on February 26 we started to a long weekend London visit to Lara and Joost. Everything went well with the flight and the transfer to London Waterloo Station. There we logged our luggage and walked through London until late afternoon where we took the train to Woking, the City close to London where Lara and Joost lived during their time in England. After a warm welcome we went to dinner at a Pub and had a chatty good night drink there, too.

On Friday we spent the whole day in London, starting with the St. James Park, went by at Buckingham Palace to Hyde Park and on to the Kensington Gardens and we had a jummy lunch break in Kensington - where I had to fight for my salad like you see on the photos. Later on we walked through Kensigton and Chelsea, found the house where Anouk lived during her au pair time in London and made some stops at cool shops in this area and have been able to see the work of Paparazzi on King's road as they hunted some famous women at shop. Later we made a visit at Herrod's and had a grandiose english dinner at Maggie Jones (Old Court Place 6). The last things we did on this day was a visit at the Tower and the Tower Bridge.

On Saturday we drove south to the cost and made some stops on the way. The first stop was in the lovely town Tunbridge Wells with hot springs and the second stop has been in Rey almost at the cost. During the drive down there we felt like in an old novel with all the old buildings and the english landscape.

Sunday we all together had a nice breakfast and we packed our stuff for our flight home late afternoon. On the way to the airport we made a stop in Guildford where we walked through the streets, bought some presents and had lunch in a pub close to the city center. Finally, Lara and Joost brought us to the airport and we had to say good-bye after a great and lovely weekend in London.
