Traveling through China and Tibet have been sometimes a quite nice surprise. Actually, I thought to travel to a developing country but that what I saw have been at many places an environment just like in Europe or North America.
People around the country have been really nice and they always tried to help if necessary. The only not so nice thing I've realized during the stay of three weeks have been the really bad pollution at Beijing and even worse in central China around Xi'an.
China is defiantly worth to explore and in Tibet you still will find some quiet and secret places, even in Lhasa if you open your eyes.
The food was a surprise, too. All places we have been offered a yummy and tasty dish - just open your eyes, look around and try to find a restaurant with only a chinese menu without any pictures :-)
