We met us at 7 am in Munich and drove together to the Zillertal valley close to Mayrhofen. Everybody was in time, so we have been able to start to hike up to the hut around 10 am and arrived there at 1:30 pm. After a short break, some of us climbed up to the summit of the Gigalitz with an altitude of 3.001 meters. Back at the hut we enjoyed the nice views and the delicious dinner we got. Sunday morning we got up at 5:15 am, had a short breakfast and started to our aim of the day at 6:15 am. The hike up to the top took us almost 5 hours and we had to walk at first through a steep and rocky area up to the glacier and further on to the ridge of the Großer Löffler. From there we had climb the last part of the tour on dangerous edge up to the summit. The way back took us almost 5 hours again, so we arrived at the hut at 3 pm, enjoyed the yummy desserts at the hut and headed back to the valley and the cars where we arrived around 7:30 pm.

We have been really lucky with the weather over this weekend and it defiantly have been a nice, but also challenging tour!
