After a really long flight from Stuttgart over Paris and Miami to Lima we finally arrived after almost 26 hours and an extra break in Miami. Firstly the flight from Paris went in late and finally we had to wait a long time at the immigration in Miami so we missed the direct connecting flight to Lima. After almost 6 hours in Miami we have been able to get on the next flight to Lima. There we got picked up from the driver Enrique of the hostal "Save in Lima" at 4:30am. At the hostal the first thing we did was to take a shower and went strait to bed because just 4 hours later we started our City tour of Lima.

Lima itself is not really a nice city, there are some nice buildings but a really bad traffic. On the city tour we walked around the Plaza de Armas, visited the iglesia San Francisco with it's catacombs and afterwards we drove to the National Museum. For dinner we went to a recommended restaurant "Javier" close to our hostal and the nice park Puente de los Suspiros with the at Barraca.

On the next day our flight to Cusco left at 9am and we arrived there around 11am and took a taxi to our hostal Frankenstein which is owned by a nice german guy Ludwig.

From there we exploded Cusco for some days and went to Pisac and Urubamba at the sacred valley. Actually for Urubamba we moved to new lovely hostel Las Chullpas from where we started to our trips to Moras and Morey as well as to Ollantaytambo and finally to Aguas Calientes.

From Urubamba we drove up to Moras and Morey, walked around the agricultural terraces and drove back to Moras from where we walked all the way down through the beautiful salinas back to Urubamba.
